• Nude

A personal exploration in embracing and celebrating feminine sensuality while challenging the narratives of shame and constraint that have marked my experience into womanhood – an experience that may resonate with many others.

An intended juxtaposition of bold, self-assured poses against a backdrop of soft, delicate tones aim to create balance of strength and subtlety. A quiet confidence while preserving a subtle allure, encouraging viewer’s interpretation and reflections.

  • Intimate Landscapes

This set of self-portraits invoke personal curiosity and physical expression to depict an intimate landscape of the human form.

Each piece is a capture of natural light cascading across the body, contemplated as any other hillside, valley or diverse terrain.

Every detail of light, line, hollow and motion is a reflection of all that abounds in nature.

  • Cultural Overlays

Once a norm and an embraced subject in art and society, the nude now faces pervasive censorship pressures, its place increasingly obscured or hidden behind layers that distort its essence, or banned altogether. Strongly defined rules stifle artistic freedom, reducing the portrayal of the nude to something rigidly controlled by algorithms.

‘Cultural Overlays’ reaffirms the beauty and significance of the nude while highlighting how cultural censoring and societal demands limit our unique expressions, distorting our natural state both individually and collectively.

  • Denied Exposure

A personal series exploring the metaphysical nature of photography. Through the introduction of abstraction and ambiguity, these self-portraits seek to capture an elusive 'otherness', where light and movement convey an existence beyond the physical form alone.

The deliberate limitation of exposure and definition intends to both free and challenge expectation, inviting viewers to contemplate the ethereal and mysterious aspects of our reality, as well as the significance of ambiguity in our individuality.

  • Where Shadows Fade

In this series, I go further to explore the complex nature of desire through an interpretive artistic process – by assuming the role of voyeur, separating myself into viewer and subject to observe the beauty of eroticism from a detached yet intimate perspective. Using an adapted pinhole technique, I intentionally obscure and limit the scope of the images, capturing a series of rolling moments that allow me the freedom to move in natural flow. This process encourages me to view the resulting images as an artist looking beyond the surface and embracing authentic expression, without judgement or limitation.

  • Personal Collection

A continuing signature series, many of which have received recognition in international photography awards.
